For all Yachts, consideration should be given to the selection of safe winching areas and procedures for a Rescue helicopter to conduct a medical evacuation. HELIOS are able to identify these areas and can design specific procedures so that winch transfers will be conducted safely and efficiently wherever the yacht is operating.

Although a helideck equipped yacht may not have its own indigenous aircraft, visiting helicopters will need to know the deck details. In this instance HELIOS can liaise directly with the aircraft operator, and because we 'speak aviation', will ensure that the transfer of an owner or guest to the yacht is safe, smooth and seamless.
