Human Factors
The majority of accidents on Superyachts are no longer due to a sole technical fault but a series of communication errors, misconceptions and human failings,
exacerbated by ever greater dependence on advanced technologies.
In the maritime industry there is a growing appreciation of the significant financial and safety benefits of Human Factors Education.
The consequences of even a minor accident can be significant. A bespoke educational package designed to develop whole crew awareness can generate considerable savings not only in terms of accident prevention and loss of charters whilst a yacht is undergoing repair but also in greater operating efficiencies within the vessel.
