During the design stages HELIOS can ensure that classification requirements are met and will liaise closely with the regulatory authorities to smooth the process to achieve a pragmatic and efficient solution for embarked aviation requirements, especially with a finite amount of deckspace.
Once the vessel is under build, HELIOS will source specialist equipment and will generate a close rapport with Project Management, Build and Seagoing Captains to establish robust, safe operating procedures not only to meet licensing requirements but also to aid the integration of helicopter operations within the whole ship Safety Management System (SMS) without unduly restricting other concurrent yacht activities.
